Path of Exile is a free action-RPG. It runs in temporary seasons called leagues, and when a league ends, the game moves on and your characters’ stories fade. That’s the gap ExileOS fills: a permanent record of everything you played. A few terms you’ll see around the site:
- League
- A temporary ~3-month season with a fresh economy and a fresh start. When it ends, your characters move to the permanent “Standard” realm, and the league’s story is, until now, forgotten.
- Ascendancy
- A specialization your character picks on top of its base class: e.g. a Ranger becomes a Deadeye.
- The Atlas
- The endgame: a huge map of maps you progress through after the campaign.
- Chaos & Divine Orbs
- Path of Exile has no gold: currency items like Chaos and Divine Orbs are the money players trade with. Divine is the high-value one.
- Pinnacle bosses
- The toughest endgame encounters (the Maven, Sirus, the Arbiter of Ash), the milestones serious characters chase.

ExileOS reads your characters on a respectful schedule and saves a snapshot whenever something changes. No add-ons, no overlays.

How is this different from poe.ninja?
poe.ninja shows you the data. ExileOS reads the same public ladder and turns it into a decision — a plain read on each ascendancy, a weighted side-by-side compare, and a daily briefing of what changed — with the evidence shown next to every call.
Do I need to log in?
No. The build decisions, daily briefing, meta, market, and live race are free and need no login. The personal account features will use Path of Exile’s official login once it is approved.
Is it free?
Yes. The live tools are free to use, and we will never charge you to keep your own history.
When can I use the account features?
The live tools work right now. Personal account features are pending official API approval from Grinding Gear Games. Join the waitlist and we will email you the moment login opens. You can also opt in to occasional product updates, no spam, unsubscribe anytime.
Does it support Path of Exile 2?
Yes. The live tools cover both Path of Exile and Path of Exile 2, and the account layer is built for both from day one.
Could account login get me banned?
No. ExileOS will only ever use Path of Exile’s official, read-only API and OAuth login. It never touches the game client, your files, or anything that automates gameplay.
